May Update

Last week we sold 12 hebe plants. We still have 34 hebe plants and 10 Kowhai left to sell. The hebe plants make good hedges. Thanks to all of the parents and community members who have supported us. A special big thank you to Mrs Beard. - By Jacob.

Learning in our Bush

On Tuesday the 11th of May, we went to the bush. We learnt that the bush is like a house. We also learnt that our bush does not have any roof level trees. In our bush we have whitey wood which is a hard wood to make fire. At lunch time we put bait in all of the 5 bait stations. We still have native plants for sale. Kowhai plant = $4.00. Hebes = $3.00. Thank you very much Lance for organising all of the possum bait. We can see a little evidence of possums and it is great to get on top of them! - By Jacob.

Planning our Hebe Planting

We are looking at planting some Hebes in the bush. We will call it the 'Hebe Mountain.' We will plant the hebes on a big pile of rotten rock. We have ten hebes to sell and we also have ten Kowhai to sell. The Kowhai are $5.00 each and the hebes are $3.00 each. If you are interested in puchasing any of these, please come down and ask for Caleb K or Jacob.
